I am not sure what to serve for dessert on Christmas Day.
I don't like traditional christmas pudding or things with dried fruit and I am looking for something light.
Thanks for your help

Broken Glass Torte

1 pkg. each of jello (orange, cherry, lime)
3 c. boiling water
2 c. cold water
1 c. pineapple juice
1/4 c. sugar
1 - 3oz. pkg. lemon jello
1 1/2 c. graham crackers
1/3 c. butter
2 envelopes of Dream Whip.

Prepare jello separately using 1 c. boiling water & 1/2 c. cold water in each. Pour into shallow pans, chill until firm or overnight.
(I use pie pans to set them in)
Mix pineapple juice & sugar; heat until sugar is dissolved. Remove from heat. Siddolve lemon jello in hot juice. then add 1/2 c. cold water. chill until slightly thickened.
Mix crumbs and butter. Press into springform pan. Cut firm jellos in 1/2" cubes. Then prepare the whipped topping. Blend with the lemon jello. Fold the jello cubes. Pour into pan. Chill at least 5 hours or over night. Enjoy !!

Sounds like alot of different steps but it is oh so nummy when it is done and always gets rave reviews. Especially for Christmas with all the colors.

A nice mix of homemade bars and cookies is what we have at our home for holiday desserts.
These usually include : Magic cookie bars, lemon bars, frosted sugar cookies, chocolate crinkles, peanut cookies with chocolate kiss centers, pecan tassies, fudge, etc.
