Why can't "Islam" be seen by non-muslims as how we muslims see it?
•The peaceful and gentle Islam.
• We are not radical.
• We do not support terrorism.
• We believe in human rights.
• Muhammad was a good man, who did righteousness.
• Muhammad (pbuh) Didn't wage war against people who were non muslim for the simple fact that they were non muslim, as quoted by a sahih hadeeth, the prophet (pbuh said, whoever hurts a non muslim, is like he is hurting me.
• The prophet Muhammad didn't rape, or have sex with Aisha R.A when she was 6 or 9 years old. She was offered marriage to him, by her father Omar R.A, because he knew Prophet pbuh was a good man, and could protect her ( his family) for the sake of life*.
• ALLAH SWT is our one true, mono theistic God, and we associate nothing with ALLAH SWT.

• Quran is our holy book, in which many Surahs and Ayats have been misunderstood. Especially the one about Jihaad. Jihaad is when Islam is under attack, we should do Jihaad. Meaning, if some people are trying to blow down the Kaabah in Makkah, or something like that

• There are many Religious and Scientific proofs about Islam.
• The Quran has mostly been misinterpreted because the reader's lack of knowledge in the arabic language to fully understand the meaning of the Surahs and Ayats, thus leading to some wierd imaginary concepts by the people of the Quran.
• Quran speaks about even what the Constitution and Declaration of Independence is based on. Such as Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness.

Thanks, and NO,I am not an Arabic, or Middle Eastern. I am an American living in the United States , have been all of my life.

As a Muslim, I know whats true and false about what people say about Islam, as I'm sure you do not appreciate what other people say about your religions.
