on the street selling all of your property he see a fire in the building across the street. He runs into the building and saves a person from the fire. When he returns to his stole loot the police are waiting for him and arrest him. Since he is a hero, should we not charge him with burglary and give him your property back so he can continue to sell it?

ahfgvd: you are the only one who seems to understand the obvious connection to illegal immigration and the question ask earlier in answers about the illegal alien asking for amnesty because he saved a little boy in the desert.

Of course, we should always be magnanimous and look at the big picture. He saved a person's life!!! That far outweighs any minor theft and meagre profits he'll get for selling my property. In cases like this one has to look past the minor moral implications.

Because he saved someones life I am more than happy that a human being is alive and ask the police to overlook the theft. The saving of a mans life may help the thief turn a moral corner and it is likely he only stole to feed his starving children.

Yes, although inconvenient, a human life is well worth the trouble of me having to fill in my $13,579,000 insurance claim for my art collection on my fridge door, er I mean my Matisse and Monet masterpieces that were hanging on my living room wall.

Let him enjoy his fifteen minutes of fame being a hero and arrest him for being a burglar, return the loot to its rightful owner. Everyone has some good in them but a thief is still a thief and should be treated as such. It's like saying, hey this guy is a murderer but he takes good care of his mother so let's just let him go. The courts can administer justice in a case by case manner so arrest him and let them decide.

yeah that had no relevance to immigration...but people should be held accountable to their actions. It's like what if a serial killer doesn't kill the whole family, but just the father and sons and leaves the mother and daughters alone. He should still be held accountable for the murders he did commit.

Heck, why have prisons? Just make all convicts perform a good deed and set them free!

Most Mexicans are idiots.
