Yahoo! Answers isn't really a dating site. You can cruise over to http://www.craigslist.org and click on the city nearest you and look under 'men seeking women' to find that dream date.

Only if one of you can possibly see moving to one or the other place (or somewhere in between) in the future. Otherwise, I'd have to say no, practically speaking. Unless you have the resources to see each other frequently, long-distance relationships are very difficult to maintain.
I've been to California, and it's quite nice, but they do tend to have a lot of earthquakes, which, if you're like me and have not really experienced much of that where you live, it can be VERY disconcerting! But, it's always warm there! ;)

Sure. But it's a lot of work. You will need to fly between Cali and Canada if you want to see her/him. And this will cost money, something that you may or may not have. I think that if you love each other and are willing to put the time and money to make it work, it will. Good luck!
