Why do I dream about tonados a lot?

I usually don't dream, but when I do and remember my dream, they are usually about tornados! Do I just watch the show "Mega Disasters" and the weather channel too much, or is there more to it than that??

I have dreams about tornados all the time too! I read that it's a sign of feeling like everything is out of our control plus anxiety.

Hi there,

In perspective, you must understand where this is coming from. As a tornado is not some internal source as is seen in perspective involving houses and rooms, we speak in terms of an "external source". Or rather, some thing or someone that is causing distracting circumstances which are chaotic at best.

What then, is the purpose of the tornado..... Well, the job of the tornado is to remove things from the land as a natural method of cleansing.... therefore, nothing personal, but what must be...... ((Though it effects us in a negative way, its only doing what it does.....)) a job.....

Now, consider the perspective: Some outside source, only doing what it does, and is wreaking havoc in your life..... At least that is what the symbolism is.

It is not you, but some outside source.... Now, it is playing a major role in your psyche because of the program you've watched and it had an impact on your thinking.......

I dream about tornados all the time. I never feel terribly anxious or like everything is out of control, so I'm not sure that's an accurate diagnosis.

I think they're fascinating, and that which is fascinating tends to recur in my dreams.

Usually dreams of violent storms like this indicate turmoil beyond your control. The trick is are you caught in them, or watching them from the outside? Therein lies the answer. Or maybe you are simply watching that show too much and it is still in your sub conscience when you fall asleep. That is perfectly feasible, too.

You're life is out of control. You want to be in control of it, but you just can't seem to get a handle on it. because of this, you are anxious and stressed. The solution to your problems is to put your trust in Jesus and give the control over to Him. When you do that, the anxiousness and stress will "magically" disappear, and so will your tornado dreams.
