No, we should be taking action now. It's long been established that climate change is upon us and that the longer we delay taking action the more costly it becomes and the more serious the consequences.

In a recent worldwide poll it was found that the vast majority of people (90%) view global warming as a serious threat, in the US the figure was 76%. http://www.worldpublicopinion.org/pipa/articles/btenvironmentra/187.php?nid=&id=&pnt=187

In another poll just a few weeks ago 59% of Americans stated it was necessary to take major steps to combat climate change, 33% wanted some action taken and only 6% wanted no action.

If the 6% get their way then what does that say about democracy.

The global warming fiction is being used by politicians to manipulate people and gain more power. If we allow politicians to control carbon, they will control every aspect of our lives. The strongest "believers" in GW are those with the least scientific education.

The most recent warming coming out of the last ice age was not caused by humans. Think about the continental ice sheets in Canada and the northern US just 15000 years ago. By 8000 years ago, temperatures were much as they are now. That was an enormous change, much greater than anything seen presently.

If you want to worry about a disaster, try the emergence of new disease or the constant struggle of bacteria against our antibiotics.

Yes...nothing in regard to this phoney baloney that was invented by the same guy who invented the Internet. The man is a raving lunatic, in essence saying that "the sky is falling" like Chicken Little, a cartoon character. He should actually be undergoing a mental exam to see if he's fit to stand civil trial for his mass deceptions causing us to lose focus with our national security.

Global warming is dangerous distraction from our real enemy, and if a Democrat is elected, he or she would like focus upon silliness such as this.

Global warming is natural and necessary. It helped to dissolve the ice ages and saved the planet. Global warming beyond this needs to be inscribed in history along side of Santa Clause, the Tooth Fairy, the Easter Bunny and ADHD.

There used to be some doubt that the Earth was not the center of the universe, but solid SCIENCE proved that all that doubt was wrong. Science wins every time over doubt!

The problems in the environment are a result of human action. We've managed in less than 300 years what it took nature thousands to do in order to end the last ice age. We should act now to begin trying to counter act the damage we've done. If we don't who knows WHAT kind of world we'll leave our grandchildren?
Is that the legacy you'd like to be known for?

No, we should continue to not do anything until there is at least some scientific evidence that we are the cause. As of now, there is no scientific evidence which suggests this.
