basically i share a room with my mom. im too poor to get my own place so anywho this is what happened. im in my room and im listening to music. my mom comes in and turns on the tv. i ask her to turn off the tv because i was listening to the music. she tells me to go down stairs and listen to music there but i obviously cant bring the sterio down stairs and i tell her ,"why cant you watch tv down stairs" because clearly theres a tv down there. she furiously yells (not even exagerating) "this is my ******* house, and im paying for this ****" so anyway i just leave the room. now, my question is what type of word can i use to describe her?

btw. she has anger problems, shes always nervous, and always yells.

Domineering. I don't know how hold you are, but you might want to consider finding a nice roommate and moving someplace else. Parents often think that they can control their kids - even when those kids are 50 years old - I know - I've seen it. I've even experienced a relative that was so used to telling his own children what to do that he thought he could tell ME what to do, and I was 50 years old at the time, and OLDER than he is! You need to make arrangements to either get her some kind of anger management help, or you need to get out. You also might want to inform her that when she gets angry like that it puts a chemical called "cortisol", or the "stress" chemical in your body, and that chemical causes AGING, so you might want to think about that the next time she gets mad. Stress is what kills us - sounds like she doesn't know this yet. Show her "cortisol" on the internet and she might start to "get it".

One word? "Depressed", she may need medical help to handle her issues. Or perhaps "embarrassed" that at her age she has been unable to provide more for her family? Now, one word for you...conversation...have one good one with your mom where you're asking, not blaming.
