Well, it warmed the cockles of my little heart :)
You know, I used to be one of those "anti-illegals at any cost" people until one evening a couple of years ago when I was watching my beloved baseball team, the Detroit Tigers. A light bulb went on over my head. There are more Hispanic accents than you can shake a stick at on that team---Pudge Rodriguez can barely speak English. And I thought, THOSE guys are here because they have a particular talent; they're good ballplayers, and we welcome them with open arms. Would they be here otherwise? Surely there are others who have much to offer this country in their own various ways and means.
However, I feel that the illegals who migrate here in search of employment are creating a permanent underclass for themselves, and that's not a good thing either. Sigh. I have no idea what the answer is.

I think he was still trying to enter illegally. The fact that one man did the right thing does not justify all of them.

Yippee Skippee! One criminal did the right thing! No, he still does not deserve citizenship. Still a criminal.
