Well although I don't know any books to recommend, I wanted to suggest YOUTUBE. My boyfriend, who is a very very advanced player, is finding all kinds of lessons on youtube that he is very excited about. Type in advanced guitar lessons, or jazz, or whatever you are into... there is a large variety of advanced lessons on there! Hope this helps alittle!

What I tell my students to do is go to Sam Ash and see what they have....their always coming out with something new....and most of the books today have Cd's in the back of them....also go on google and type in this, advanced guitar books....there will be thousands of sites for you to visit and see if you can find something that you like, good luck to you....have you ever tried the free guitar lessons on the Internet.....or the lessons that are on youtube....some of them are not bad.....I do like the paying sites better then the free sites....the free sites are not very complete....but you do learn something from every site that you visit. Check out this site and see what you think !!!
