My Dad's 1995 Buick LeSabre has finally died. The transmission blew out and its starting to fall apart. He wants to buy new car, not a 2008, but one that is at the end of its model year, is roomy and comfortable, as well as not too expensive. Any ideas? Also, recommendations for websites and deals are also welcome.

Thanks!

Buick has gotten good quality ratings recently. If he liked that, you might be better off to stick with it.

Go to KBB.com To get the listing prices of the cars you are looking for. Honda`s hold there value. The accord is a good model. Or the Toyota Camry. These 2 cars get good gas mileage as you know now that gas is a far cry from cheep.

Look up dealerships on the internet in your town or just go to one. They have used cars and the ones that are last years model will have low mileage and prices are $6000 or more less than the exact model new. I have been researching and several websites will allow you to put them side by side to compare options and engine size and headroom etc. Sometimes the new last years model has extra rebates on them and that helps, but I can't believe how expensive cars are now. Good luck
