I just watch this video from our local Houston station about harmful toys for young kids. Around the middle it shows a toddler play with toys in I think a hospital waiting room all dressed up for no real reason other than to look really cute. It now has me wanting to dress my son up. Do you ever dress your kids up like this? Do you think people would think I wierd if I do.

For heaven's sake. They're little kids! Don't torture them by making them wear cute clothes all the time. They need to be comfortable enought to play and do all the things that toddlers do like rolling around in the grass. Dress them up for special occassions if you must, but don't dress them up just for the sake of it. They have years ahead of them having to wear work clothes. Let them be kids.

Well my son dress like that at least once a week so I don't think it is weired at in. In fact I think more parents should dress their kids up. It's never too young to establish good dress habits.

No, I've never dressed my son up like that. He's 17 now, but even when he was little he just basically wore jeans and t-shirts. Who cares what other people think? If you want to dress your son up, dress him up! I don't really like it, but I certainly would not think you were weird.

Every time I take my twin boys out they are usually dressed like that. No body would think you were weird, but you will get heaps of older members of the community coming up and commenting!!

I have outfits like this for my son to wear to church, but I don't dress him like that for just playing. I think that he was just dressed like that for the cameras. Little boys get too dirty to dress like that all the time....at least my son does.

I love to dress my little girl all dressy for no reason. Its fun and most people think it is adorable, not weird.
Enjoy it...I doubt we'll have much inflluence over what they wear in just a few years!

Yep, we did this all the time. Looks great. Search eBay for long sleeve shirts and sweater vests. Ralph Lauren Polo has the best (and priciest) selection.

i would always dress my my son up that nice if and when i have one. its absolutely cute!
