Help! Help! Help! I am currently a grad student who needs more student loans. I don't have good credit, and getting a co- signer is NOT an option. The federal loans will not cover all expenses. What do I do? I'm trying to get private loans, but of course, they are credit based, or I need a co-signer. My education should not suffer just because my credit is not good!

I'm in the same sitch, except I'm an undergraduate. I've exausthed all possible options and have come up with none. I have pleaded with banks and spoken directly with some of the banks management, but to no avail. I've actually taken to working all night, getting back home with enough time to take a shower and a 20 minute nap, then go to school, and take a 3 hour nap, then to work again....It pays the bills, lol. I suggest you get a job where you have time to study or something. Work out a payment plan with the college.

Have you tried applying at some online sources. They might have a higher interest rate, but that would get you the money that you need.

Here is a site you can try...
