Myrrh is a red-brown resinous material, the dried sap of the tree Commiphora myrrha, native to Somalia and the eastern parts of Ethiopia. The sap of a number of other Commiphora and Balsamodendron species are also known as myrrh.

Myrrh is a resin from a cirtain tree, it's reddish in color and has a very bitter taste. It can be as medicine or an ointment for the skin. You can also use it for it's aromatic properties... as an incense, or use it in olive oil to make annointing oil or as an ingredient in perfume.
