It is in very good condition. I only had the wood striped down and clear coated to bring it back to life. The rifle has been in my family for years. A vary nice piece to a collector. I need room in the cabinet for my new one so time to let it go.

* I paid $15 for mine.
Buy another cabinet. You'll always regret getting rid of a piece for such a trivial reason.

If it is a military 303, it would be worth maybe $400 U.S. in good shape. Some rare types may be worth more, even much more, to collectors. If it is a sporterized military rifle (converted for hunting), it depends on the job they did, the quality of the stock, etc. If it has the military iron sights at the end of the barrel, probably not worth much more than $250 U.S. The condition of the barrel internally is important. If the barrel is corroded or just filthy, that takes away from the value. If the numbers on the parts do not match, the value is diminished. The proof marks stamped on the barrel and/or reciever and stock are important clues as to which of many variants that you have.

Even if it was perfect amd original it would only be worth $100 or so, I paid $125 for mine with perfect bore, original finish and matching serial numbers. Stripped and clearcoated it lost its original finish. No collector value.

Even if it was worth anything the value would have been ruined when the stock was refinished.
