I defiantly think that marijuana is safer than drinking. Marijuana does not cause the physical harm to your organs like alcohol does. No one has ever died due to the effects of marijuana. Yes people have died in car accidents and so on because they were high but marijuana does not cause cancer or all of the many things alcohol does. I have done lots of research for projects I had to present for my college courses for Alcohol and Drug counseling. While I don't encourage using marijuana or alcohol I personally believe that marijuana is a lot better if you must just be responsible about it. Like no driving and so on. Hope this helped!

some facts about pot or marijuana. it can be grown n e where. most ppl think that what native americans smoked for their vision quest but its not. also alcolc and pot kind of have the same down effects. they both lower you mental state at the time . kill brain calls, cause health probs. they can both cause life threatening diseases , lower inhabitions. can a person mentally and physically. they boht attack the same and different parts of the body. such as pot goes for the lungs and alcohol goes for the liver. and both can make you sick if you have too much. heres one difference pot is found to be habbit forming alcohol is found to be additcting.they can both send you to prison and destroy your life and maake all happy angry hungry while doing them. so when you really sum it up to what does what . there really the same. how ever the finacial aspect. the government cant control the growth the growth or sale of pot but the can be controled alcohol. but heres one point man made the drink the earth /god made pot. hmmmm? wich is safer. its not a point of what is safer caus ewhen it comes down to it you can die from ne thing. wether its from to much or to little. its a question of what legal. and me personally im ok wiht a drink every now and again.

I smoked the stuff for 25 years...I have experience so listen up all you stupid kids who say it has not side effects. I have a very poor sense of smell, my taste is gone and I am dingy. My memory is horrible at 43 I will go to the market and forget why I went. And here is the kicker...it does lead to harder drugs. So all you youngsters when you are my age if you still had a memory you could think back about the guy on YA and say he was right.

NO, I do NOT think marijuana is a safe drug and neither is alcohol. I've seen too many people ruin their lives using one or the other, or both. Seriously !

No, it's not a "safe drug". Marijuana has 4 times as much tar than 1 ciggarette. There are plenty of other things that are dangerous about it too. But the list is WAYYY to long. Google it.

there is no safe or not drug.. this is just an excuse to make you feel better.. everything is bad for the health.. even the cigarette... and lots of people starting with fags... i would say alcohol is the same.. it has nothing to do with the safety of marijuana or alchohol.. if has to do only WITH YOU.. if you OVERDO IT nothing is safe...

This ofcourse depends on what extent you go to on using marijuana, if you are getting high all the time then it is very bad. Remember, there is no safe drug. It might look o.k but it isn't. Alchohal isn't so bad, but that is also just as bad when you get drunk.

Marijuana is safe. In some states it legal. I don't see anyone getting sued because they sold some Marijuana that killed a person.

More safe than alcohol I mean I have never heard of anyone smoking a little pot and getting in their car and killing anyone. But those munchies not safe if you are dieting. lol
