just let them be and sniff each other and get use to each others' company that's one thing that will majorly work and for house training you should try those special paper type sheets for the floor ( they are specially made for house training) and yea crate training at night is a very good idea and give both dogs equal amount of attention, and they will also give each other company when u r not playing with them

Crate training is a good idea if you don't want it crapping all over the house at night.

Introducing the two shouldn't be too difficult as long as you realize that the older dog will feel dominant over the puppy. Dogs are pack oriented so this is very normal to them. Therefore, before you pet the puppy you should first pet the older dog. You should also feed the older dog before the puppy. This lets your older dog that the puppy isn't taking his/her place. This may seem unfair but it very natural and will also make house training much easier. The older dog will actually begin to show the puppy the ropes but make sure you keep that pack hierarchy. It's you and your husband/wife, the older dog, and then the puppy in that order.

They should meet first on neutral ground to make sure that they will get along. Once they get to know each other, then bring them both home and keep a close eye on them.

The easiest way to make sure no one feels left is not to leave anyone out! Continue giving out attention to the older one even though the younger one is new and young and cute.

Crate training definitely helps with housebreaking.

Take both on a walk right away. Do not introduce them facing each other as you might be instigate a fight. Pay equal attention to both dogs. Don't just focus on the 11wk old, keep in mind the older dog IS still around! If you discipline one discipline the other...both dog's need boundaries and regulations! Enjoy you pups!

first of all, i would bring home something with the puppy's scent on it, like a blanket. Let him sniff it, roll in it, or whatever. introduce them first with a fence in between them, and then on neutral ground. let them get used to each other, and soon they will be okay with each other.
