It cut off while I was playing Resistance and when i attempted to start it up it would not load and even when I tried to play other PS3 games, they didn't work either. Is anyone familiar with this problem, if you can help, thank you ^^

My PS3 has never cut off in the middle of a game or anything like what you described. PS3's has very low hardware issues, so the only thing I can tell you is to contact Sony if you are still having problems with it.

ascertain the discs are sparkling, if now no longer sparkling the discs. If that don't artwork, attempt utilising a low potential vaccum to bathe of airborne dirt and dirt off the vents on the ps3. If that don't artwork, purchase a laser disc purifier for the ps3 to bathe the airborne dirt and dirt off the laser that's bought in gamestop or the a number of place. while you're trying those steps and none have artwork then you certainly would desire to call sony.

You may need the update....also Disable the infromation bar up in the right hand corner of the main menu. Goto the network selections and scroll down to Information bar press triangle then select disable orturn off forgot which one.
