First of all, there may be a variety of ways of calculating the supposed nornal weight. One of them (regardless of age) is as follows;

1. Convert your height into centimeters measurement. 5'5 is roughly 165cm (since 1 foot = 30.48cm and 1 inch = 2.54cm).

2. Subtract 100 from your height measurement. (165 - 100)

2. Multiply the number from (2) by 0.9 (0.9* 65 = 58.5 +/-1kg)

Thus, "normal' weight for someone with a height of 5'5 is roughly somewhere between 57.5kg and 59.5kg.

Also the following website gives an automatic calculation of body mass index and answer to your question. Hope this helps :D

111 to 149 pounds puts you in the normal BMI range for your height. Just to tell you, age doesn't really have anything to do with the right weight for you. It's mainly your height that matters. But what's most important is that if you are okay with your weight and are healthy, then you should be happy and don't pay attention to the normal weight for your height since it's different for everyone. Hope this helps.

The normal weight range for someone who is 5'5 is 114-138 pounds. It is best to fall in the middle of this, so around 126 is best.

The rule used to be that a girl 5'0'" with a medium build should weigh 100 pounds and that for every inch over 5", one should add five pounds, then subtract five for a small frame or add five for a large one. So 125 should be about right for you.

okay.. dont listen to that person that answered 140-150 lbs. it might be "average" but its not normal. when i was 17, i was 5'6 and 110 with lean muscles. 5'5, depending on your muscle mass, the most you should be is 120 to be considered healthy. 120 lbs. should be including built muscles.
