How many miles and how fast can an Altima Hybrid go?

The internal combustion engine will turn on to charge the NM HI battery's when they get to 30% ddepleted just the same as the Toyota Hybrid. Amazingly fast because of the torque of the electric motor but as soon as the throttle is depressed all the way the IC motor kicks in. Distance on electric depends on how soft acceleration use use. I have never tried to keep the IC motor off and drive any distance. Very advanced Synergy Drive uses Lot's of factors in deciding which propulsion method is going to be used. Nissan will come out with there own Hybrid soon. I hope it uses a photovoltaic roof.

hybrids are peaces of **** right when you press the gas it switches to gas and when you take your foot off the gas it turns to electric
