It sounds like the battery. Depending on the type of charger and battery, one hour might not be enough.

The Kodak C613 uses 2 x AA battery.
If you are using Alkaline battery, they are NOT rechargable.
Try putting in 2 new Alkaline battery and it should work.

If your camera takes AA, then buy AA rechargeables and charge the batteries BEFORE you insert them in camera.
PS if you don't have a battery charger, you'll have to buy one. Regular AA alkaline batteries weren't designed for digital cameras.

Check to see if the batteries are in right. you could have put them upside down in wrong side. Try changing them. There should be little pictures of how the batteries go in. Mine does that if they are not in properly, changing them usually seems to work.

Before using any new camera its always best to READ & STUDY the Owner's Manual. It wasn't packed in the box as filler material - its included so you can learn how to use your camera.

95% of the questions asked in here, IMO, are asked because the Owner's Manual is gathering dust while people fumble around with their cameras, getting ever more frustrated.

Fully charge the batteries, and then see if you have the same problem.
