When I was 12 years old I had a crush on this guy, every summer my family and his would stay at the same hotel done in New Jersey (the families were not friends). One day I went to the movies with one of my friends and he was there, he and my friend were friends so we watched the movie together. Later on my friend and I got separated and I was left alone with him, we talk allot and it turned out that we had a lot in common. But after that night I never talked to him again.
Now I’m 17 and we attend the same school, he has a girl friend and I have a boyfriend. But it seems like whenever I see him, I don’t know I get this weird feeling inside, and he gives me this piercing look like he could be feeling the same.
I don’t understand it but I don’t know what to do either, he’s been going out with his girlfriend for three years. But this feeling I don’t know how to explain it, then again I was just one night??
What do you think??

I think he's the kind of guy that will always be your 'what if'. I think you need to casually talk to him as a friend, and then you will know what to do. I think what you want to hear is your in love, but I don't truethfully know. I once thought I wa in love, I felt the same, and three-four years later I can't stop crying because it feels like my heart is broken, but I think maybe he's more my "what if" guy. The guy you wonder what it would be like to be with him, and it's that idea that we love. You should talk to him though, and turn that "what if" guy into I'm so glad I took the chance or I guess I'm not missing out.

Sounds like Magnetism to me...you and the guy might have something special! You are young and I take it that he is about the same age...you are not engaged, nor is he? Start to talk to him again, there in no law against that, right? If for some reason he finds you to give him the same feeling, GO FOR IT!!! Going out with someone that has another girl friend or boy friend is not a crime... Just to find out if you have "Chemistry" together is not wrong. If you don't feel right going out...just start to chat with him and take it from there! Good Luck and don't just pass it up, otherwise you will never know if he is the one for you!!!

It's a crush, and you just feel this way because you hung out for a night, and then it was over. You are feeling like this because there was no closure, you left each other hanging.

I think you are just interested and feeling this way, because you never got to finish what you started whether or not it would have went any where... that's normal.

Don't let a childhood crush haunt you.If something will happen between you both it will be known in the course of time.so don't worry, cheer up and think only what good things you already got right now.

I think you are projecting what you feel onto how you think he feels. He has a girlfriend who is also a longtime girlfriend. Leave it alone. And if he really is your friend then don't do anything which could mess up his life and relationship with her.

When you were twelve, you felt something for him, but honestly, you were way too young. Now, it's just coming back to haunt you. I would just let it go. I know you have memories, but you both are dating someone, so don't hurt your relationships.
