Correct! Most Americans don't have a problem with legal immigrants. It's the illegals that are the problem.
There are many ways to legally immigrate into this country, but since 9/11, it takes longer than before because more care is taken. It also depends on what country you want to immigrate from.
You can come in via work visa, student visa, fiance visa and spousal visa, just to name a few. The first 3 are temporary visas.
I don't know how you can say there is NO illegal immigrants in Canada. I'm sure it's not the problem there as it is here for those of us in California, Arizona & Texas being on the Mexico border.

Thats funny, there are thousands of people every year who manage to immigrate to the United States legally.
Your just pissed because you don't qualify.
As for your last question, there is much less illegal immigration in Canada because it does not boarder any country except the United States. If Canada *switched* places with the United States, then there would be more illegal immigrants in Canada than the United States. Another point to make is that on the "world scale" America is a much 'bigger' country with more opportunities and is more 'wider' known than Canada - i.e no matter where you are in the world, switch on the news and there is always a chance it will be something related to the United States, Canada hardly gets mentioned.
The American dream. Land of free and home of the brave and all that... what is Canada's little motto?

90% of those people in USA are immigrated to USA recently or form the family of immigrants who earlier immigrated from Europe, or forcibly immigrated to the USA from Africa for economical reason or for other reason. And now these people are crying against the others as illegals.

There is no right to come, and we have the same right your country has to limit how many we take. We take more than any other country in the world, but just because more people want to come, doesn't mean more should be able to come at our expense. We want less population, not more. That is why we went to a zero birth rate in the 70s.
I agree that aside from minor children and spouse with an allowance for parents, it should be a point system, however. Now, our family preferences use up our entire discretionary quota for many countries, and we are letting in 'relatives' quite far removed from the initial admitted immigrant.

we have more illegal immigration than Canada because we border a series of countries with a much lower standard of living than we have, and Canada does not. Greece has the same issue. So does Malta.

Actually, several American politicians have suggested that the US immigration system be reformed so it includes a "point system" similar to the one used in Canada.
The proper way to emigrate to the United States is through legal channels, namely US Citizenship and Immigration Services (formerly INS). This usually involves getting a green card or a visa, working in the United States for a period of time (several years), paying the taxes associated with working, and eventually taking a citizenship test and taking an oath of citizenship.

on condition that extra Mexicans are given visas for kin than the different u . s ., that has a tendency to erode the visas left for the unskilled from that u . s .. even if, there are NAFTA professional visas which offer them (and Canadians) one extra leg up on actually everyone else in the journey that they fulfill those criteria. There are also countless momentary worker visas given out each three hundred and sixty 5 days and a ton of those visit Mexicans.

Simple answer - stay where you are. What pressing need do you have to come to America anyway?
Unfortunately, yes - the government does love illegal immigration, and has slapped those wanting to do it in the right way in the face.
However, this is no reason to advocate breaking of the immigration laws - only more reason to fight the corrupt Americans who currently profit from the illegals.

You would of probally had a better chance to immigrate here legally, if America was not facing a illegal immigration crisis.

I believe what Mexican people should do is to deport all the illegal gringo-rednecks from Mexico that are living there illegally. Most of those rednecks are child molesters, losers, lazy, dirty. The Mexicans should kick them out of Mexico too.
