Sorry that this question is not about hair, but no one helps in the dating section :[ . sorry guys!
Okay, I am a sophomore in high school, and he's a senior. I thought he was cute since freshman year, and i noticed that we both look at each other a lot. This year, at a school event, i was walking into the gym and he was walking out of it. neither of us was looking and we crashed into each other. his drink spilled all over me and he was so sorry about it. i kind was glad it happened because it got us to really notice each other. now i cant stop thinking about him. he kept coming back up to me saying how sorry he was.
Can someone give me some advice on what to do?
He's like this:
-not cocky
-doesn't know hes cute
-doesn't have many friends at school
-helps out the school alot
-has alot of school spirit
-pretty shy
-never had many girlfriends
-doesn't have a myspace/probably no aim
-has a car
anything? please i can't stop thinking of him.

you should start hanging around with him, he doesn't have many friends and he works for the school alot. so start helping out with him, setup for events or whatever and make small talk, you'll get to know each other pretty fast. he'll get over apologizing the more you talk with him. he'll get over being shy with you and doesn't get many girls, so he'll get more of a nervous vibe around you. just keep being friends/hang out. ask him for a ride home in the rain or something. sooner or later, he'll fall for you.

well its kind of simple.
with him being shy and all, you can take the lead and seem very confident even if you're terrified inside.
in other words you can ask him very confidntly and as if its no big deal "do you have a thing for me?"
if he says yes, youre done.
if he says no, casually shrug it off with "well then theres gotta be some reason why you stare at me. hahaha" then change subject.
then comes up the problem that you guys dont even know each other, and arent together for more than 3 secs. when you do encounter each other.
therefore, wait until next time he desperately apologizes for spilling the drink and say "you can make it up to me by taking me to see a movie"

I would just start off as friends. Hang out in groups, go out for lunch or coffee or whatever. Go the the mall, see a movie with friends... just make it friend-like and casual for now. Then if it turns into something more thats when you can start leaning into that if he feels the way.
I will admit it might be alittle difficult cuz he'll be leaving school and you basically 'just started' so take it slow.

If he's shy you are just going to have to take the initiative- go up and start a conversation. Suggest going for a drink after school, just about anything casual like that.

hey. omg. i totally know how u feel i am a sophmore in high school and the guy I like is a senior in high school too. I know a lot of people say at my school its a little weird to like a guy with such an age difference...but hey...i guess we are just attracted to more mature guys (maybe) lol..just go up to him and say hi...i have done this!...there was a time i was like so scared to go up to guys...especially guys that age...but really they are feeling the same way you are...if he is shy..he probably has a hard time approaching ANYONE...this is your chance to just go up to him and be friendly...who knows what will happen (-;

He sounds perfect!! Well i say play it cool. Nobodi likes a stalker lol. If you're to shy to initiate a convo, its i couple ways to get his attention. without being to foward, and its an easy way to see if he thinks the same. Simple, when you see each other smile at him...and if he smiles back go over and say something to him. Smiling has nevr failed me lol.
