No, I would not.

And yes, the Pope is subject to the teachings of the Church, just as any believer is.

Your assumption that the Pope defines the Faith as an individual is wrong. The authority of the Pope lies in his role as the leader of the Magesterium, not in his individual person.

No I wouldn't ,I do think the pope should follow his decrees to the letter.

If I were my own pope, I'd already be in the religon. Your first question is moot.

I think the pope considers himself a Catholic. Call it a hunch.

No, that wouldn't be right. Besides, I want to get married with children and the pope doesn't do that and forces priests to not get married...

Hell no. Then all the followers would be asking me stupid questions cause they would refuse to think for themselves. No thanks!

And Freud would be one of the last people I would quote. The man was a drug addict and thought any dreams you had only meant you wanted to sleep with your mother.
