Well, most likely the speakers in your right earphone have been damaged. Do you listen to loud music on a high volume? I heard that the strong vibrations going through the headphones will eventually damage the speaker if it continues for long enough. The same thing has happened with my Ipod headphones, but with the left ear, and two other headphones I have just stopped playing from one side or another.

As far as I know, there's no way to fix it. Buy another pair of headphones that are good quality and durable. I wish I could help out any better, but I'm kinda in the same situation. Good luck!

Trouble shooting them may not be too difficult. When it starts to cut out, CAREFULLY try wiggling the wire right where the wires go into the back end of the plug. This is the more common place for an intermittent open to occur. If that doesn't seem to have an effect, try the same thing where the wire goes in to the right speaker. With to days small (wire size etc.) ear phones, the most common weak link is at the plug end of the cable. A good set of head phones with an adapter to down size the 1/4 " plug down to the 2.5mm is no big deal and the much heaver cable and near bullet proof plug, not to mention the higher quality speakers, is ideal for any audio phial listening comfortable to tunes. Not recommended while jogging though as one might get hit by a truck due can't hear the air horns with the jugs on.

If you've used the others quite a bit I would suspect a crimped or broken wire, probably near the jack. If you're any good with micro soldering, it can be repaired and beefed up. If not, time to replace them.
