I just started a new diet, low calorie, and for the first time bought Talapia. I have a George Forman type grill. Can someone tell me a good, tasty way to fix this fish? They are fillets.

Thank you!

Tilapia is so mild that I think it needs seasoning. Just a little black pepper is good. Or try a Cajun or creole seasoning like Zatarains or Tony Cachere. Cavenders Greek seasoning is good too. Tilapia filet tend to fall apart and cook very quickly. Do not overcook, it will be dry. Be sure to use a cooking spray like Pam or do like me. I keep a folded paper towel in my can of shortening to rub on the grill. The amount of fat and calories is negligble.
Edit. I disagree with steaming. Tilapia has so little flavor that if you steam it you will not want to eat it again. It will be tasteless.

Something healthy is maybe you want to try to steam it. Steaming is a very healthy way of eating. If you're going to grill it, just use anything on it. Salt, pepper, anything and everything. It doesn't taste bad with some lemon. or whatever you put on it. It's very compatible with all different spices.

i agree with catarat, but if you want variations in grilling it, try grilling it on charcoal wrapped on banana leaves, with thin slices of ginger, garnish it with salt n pepper, and dip it on soy sauce with lemon juice.
