Well taking the fact that I am a girl I know a thing or two about
staying interested in a conversation with a guy. So honestly
ask us things about ourselves... when a guy ask us about
our life it makes us feel as if they actually do care about us
and their interested in the things that we do. So asking us
what we like to do in our spare time, things about family if
the girl is family oriented, job, school things in that nature.
And a witty personality wouldn't hurt either. A guy who
can me sarcastic in my opinion is a turn on so try and throw
some wittiness out there.

Ask her questions about herself, but don't get too personal. People love to talk about themselves, so ask her about school, what she plans to do when she gets out of school, what is she interested in, what are her hobbies, who are her friends, where she likes to go -- that type of thing. But don't just fire questions at her one after the other. These examples are just for openers, and can lead to a conversation. Also, she may ask you questions, and so on. You may discover that you share a lot of things in common. And before you know it, you'll be able to have a two-way conversation non-stop. Good luck!

Just talk about each others hobbies your interests. How was each others day. If they work then talk about their working situations and just pop out some of your memorable stories
