I agree with you.. But here you are telling them not to do something that you don't like... Because you "don't understand it" That's why they attack each other, they strive to understand what they don't know. There's no harm in expressing your passion on an open forum.
And think of it this way, Perhaps in all this bickering they may actually help each other better understand the others view, making them a more understand and open minded individual.

It actually matters to me.
People of monotheistic faiths generally feel a need to go round telling people what is right and wrong and trying to shape laws - often against the moral consensus of the population.
They do this, and are listened to, not generally through any moralistic or logical argueing, but mostly because a book written a long time ago from a basically dead culture in a dead tongue says so.
I have no problem with people having personal faith - it is just more often than not it tends to come with a desperate need to enforce their views on everyone else.
Religion didn't look so harmless that dreadfull morning in New York six years ago, did it?

You are commissioned tell the world about our Savior
however there are many people that force it on others
like hitting them with a club.
I 've said it before and will say it again
Wittiness not testimony
you can give the best sermon and deliver the best message and when its done have everybody leave and do the same thing they did when they came in
or give powerful witness and watch them all ask what in you that make you have that much peace
no need to argue just give a good witness

Seriously, both Christians and Atheists who think the other is stupid and are hypocrites and need to be focusing their efforts on being good people and help out the world, stop answering questions, get off your lazy butt, and go do what you think others should be doing! (I know I sound like a hypocrite here, but deal with it. I love that word: Hypocrite, hypocrite, hypocrite).
It bugs me when people bulk Atheists and then Christians into a big group. We are individuals, not all Christians are arrogant, naive morons and not all Athiests are losers and idiots because they don't believe in a higher power.

The fool has said in his heart,
“There is no God.”
They are corrupt,
They have done abominable works,
There is none who does good. Ps. 14:1
Professing to be wise, they became fools. Rom. 1:22
But the natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; nor can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned. 1 Cor. 2:14

fool1 /ful/ Pronunciation Key - Show Spelled Pronunciation[fool] Pronunciation Key - Show IPA Pronunciation
–noun
1. A SILLY OR STUPID PERSON; A PERSON WHO LACKS JUDGEMENT OR SENSE.
2. a professional jester, formerly kept by a person of royal or noble rank for amusement: the court fool.
3. a person who has been tricked or deceived into appearing or acting silly or stupid: to make a fool of someone.
4. an ardent enthusiast who cannot resist an opportunity to indulge an enthusiasm (usually prec. by a present participle): He's just a dancing fool.
5. A WEAK-MINDED OR IDIOTIC PERSON.
We care because we don't want to see you in hell. If I murder someone do I still have to face the judge?.....Why should I don't believe in him....
God have a law... Ten Commandments. They are written on your heart. You naturally know right from wrong. If you break any one of the Ten Commandments your are headed to hell. God became a man in the person of Jesus, lived a perfect life, was crucified, and then rose three days later. Basically God laid all the sins of the world on him then died...he rose again defeating death. Jesus paid your fine and my fine so on judgment day we can go free IF we repent. We are forgiven by a good an kind God who paid our fine for us. If we don't repent, then we are cast into the jaws of hell.

Because the Bible says we must preach the gospel to all the world. We,as Christians, don't want to see innocent, deluded people go to a devil's Hell. People are free to embrace or reject what they wish. You are right there! But it does matter, ever so much. It determines our eternal destiny. We should definitely try to all get along. Sometimes, people must just agree to disagree.

Because when you become a Christian God puts a love in your heart for the world, and gives you a commission to go into all the world and preach the good news that there is eternal life for those who will believe in Jesus Christ. We cannot sit back and watch millions of people who are headed for hell without spreading the message. Starving is minuscule compared to an eternity in hell. We will continue to do all we can to share that message until Christ returns.

Didn't I just answer this?
Edit: Yep I did
"So what you are saying is I should let a bunch of delusional people who believe a magic sky fairy is talking to them out in public?
Although what I normally say is if they left me alone and left politics alone I wouldn't care. Since they do neither, I care."
Also as for your who is smarter the tendency is the non-religious are smarter than the religious. According to several studies conducted.

My thoughts exactly!
There are so many problems in our world, and some can't seem to get over that people have different beliefs than they do.

This is coming from a Christian, and I agree with you. I'm sick of fighting. RIght now, all I want is to respect other people's beliefs, and have mine respected in return. Why can't we do that?
