No. Redemption lies in the blood of the Savior, not in a cup that only represented it. Jesus never set the cup aside as being holy--man did that, and turned it into an icon. Thus creating a diversion from seeking the Savior, to seeking artifacts that cannot save or redeem.

No scriptural basis for it whatsoever. It's an allegory to Christ Himself, the cup that brings life is His blood sacrifice.

I believe it is somewhere, much like the Ark of the Covenant, which was in Ethiopia, but now is in Israel.

No, I don't believe there to be any power in an earthly vessel regardless of whether Jesus used it or not. Same with his robe etc.
