Have you ever heard of a person who died of a closed wrist injury? It doesn't happen.

This is what you do every time you have a sports-type injury: RICE

R - Rest
I - Ice, 20min on 20min off
C - Compression Ace bandage not too tight
E - Elevation - Keep your wrist higher than your heart.

Take 2 Ibuprofen, wait 3 hours, take 2 tylenol. Repeat as needed.

If it's still hurting/swelling/bruised by Monday, go get an x-ray.

If it continues to hurt see a doctor. As odd as it sounds you may have broken your wrist if it keeps hurting and you DON'T want it to heal out of place. I know someone who fell and broke both his wrists. It hurt but not too bad. However the pain didn't go away. When he finally did go to the doctor they had healed incorrectly and the doctor had to rebreak both his wrists in order to set them correctly. This basically entailed taking a hammer to both his wrists. So in another day or two if it still hurts, go get x-rays.

You are not dying all though it might feel that way, it's probably bruised or slightly sprained. I would have it checked out in case the pain worsens. Check periodically for any swelling or throbbing and don't wait too long before you get Medical Aid.

you're not dying, but you should go to an orthopedist and see what kind of injury there is. you will have tests done and probably some x-rays. hope you get better. : )
