I don't believe in a god, but for the sake of this argument, I will answer as if I did.

It's god's fault, he is the so called creator. How is it that when he creates something and puts a flaw into that creation, it becomes my fault for having that flaw? I find it hard to believe that there is a god and because of his own incompetency, has decided to punish the entire creation unless you decide to worship him and to make it even better, he refuses to tell you if he is real or not. That does not sound like a being that I want to worship......HA HA god HA HA

People who could not grasp the difference between faith and ignorance are the ones who have failed god.

You must believe that life now is much better than those times and we don't have to rely on religion as much. Killings in the name of religion is stupid, no matter what god or religion you believe in none have even hinted at killing as a good thing.

So this was the main reason Jesus, or any religious figure or martyr has died. Did he really fail? I mean look at the freakin influence he has being the majority of the world's religion.

So no he didn't fail, and neither did god because he created us to base our decisions on our own free will, not some made up **** people want to die over.

You're walking a fine line between genuine curiosity and heresy.

To answer your question, though I have not much respect for it, God did not fail, neither Jesus Christ nor the Holy Spirit.

When God created man, he set him before two trees. This is God's unrelenting principle for dealing with man. God will offer, man will choose. Man always has the choice--believe or not believe in this case. The fact that the belief rate is low is not God's fault. It's man's.

God did not come to teach us. He came to give us life. When we become children of God, we begin to understand God and learn from him.

Many parents bring up their children with love and high moral values, send them to school to receive a good education, teach them to be helpfull to society and be the best possible person, but sometimes children even getting that standard of education they fail, because of many circumstances, friends, bad environment when they go out, relationships so on and so forth, well this is the same with God and Jesus, their word is the bible and if we don't follow it step by step and we do what we want then those are the consequences, now some people don't read the bible and they are good persons, but the have very high moral values, due that they have taken everything that they have been taught by parents and educational teachers. Well it means that you have a guide from the day that you are born, so if you don't follow that guide then you fail, so I would say that it is our responsability to behave and act according to the good costumes, so please don't blame the teachers, blame yourself for your actions.

I want to ask before answering this question. What you mean by FAILED? Of the words God or JESUS, the word Jesus based on Holy Bible. The persons believes, accepts and follow the teachings of Him are called Christians and anyone can be a member if he do so without any conditions or limitations. According to Bible, JESUS the son of GOD , in TRINITY (Father, Son & the Holy Spirit) and as such the question of failure doesn't arise between God & JESUS.

I feel, it may be your failure to understand between God & Jesus, before making such a rating. My advice, that you may take efforts to learn the underlying ideas & teachings of Religion & Spirituality, if you have not done so far and if interested. God Bless you.

So when you try to teach your child something, and they don't grasp it, are you saying it's the parents' fault?

I believe in some sort of God ... my husband is an Atheist. When I try to explain my beliefs to him, I describe it like this. Think of God as a human and humans as little ants ... there is no way that an ant could possibly comprehend everything a human does ... and in the same way, there is no way a human can truly comprehend God ...

God delivred a message through Jesus. Do you belive? I hope you do. Neither failed and I question your statistics. Mabe in a poll that was true, but you coul poll several groups and get much different answers.
Just because people are not CHristians does not mean they doubt there is God. Jews, Mormons, Muslums, and many other non Christians belive in God.
Failure would mean noone belives, it loos like we have a job to do a a society to spread the word. Pray and hope all will belive in the end, and if not then pray they will at least belive in thier religion to the best of their ability so the can recieve salvation according to what they know.

What are you basing your false numbers on?

Response: It is not a failure of God at all, but rather a failure of humanity. The Holy Spirit cannot enter someone until invited, so can't be that either. We as humans are not puny, we have the will to accept or deny and 2/3 of the world either has denied or has yet to hear and accept.

Please don't email privately with that type of question. It's almost like stalking.

God and Jesus (also a God), never fail. It isn't that we fail to grasp what He/They are telling us, it's that our pride gets in the way and we end up telling them how it should be done (whatever it is we want done). This life is a test, our time frame is not Theirs, patience is the name of the game with total humility. This is not easy to do, no-one does it perfectly. Repentance, forgiveness and His help all merge together to help us overcome and obtain all that is best for us, remember only God knows the future, everybody's future. When we become prideful and angry at Him, then we are no longer teachable (at least until we become humble again), and that is why it is our fault.

The fault is not with the sower or the seed. The fault is with the soil (ie the heart of the individual).

“The sower sows the word.
“And these are the ones by the wayside where the word is sown. When they hear, Satan comes immediately and takes away the word that was sown in their hearts.
“These likewise are the ones sown on stony ground who, when they hear the word, immediately receive it with gladness; and they have no root in themselves, and so endure only for a time. Afterward, when tribulation or persecution arises for the word’s sake, immediately they stumble.
“Now these are the ones sown among thorns; they are the ones who hear the word, and the cares of this world, the deceitfulness of riches, and the desires for other things entering in choke the word, and it becomes unfruitful.
“But these are the ones sown on good ground, those who hear the word, accept it, and bear fruit: some thirtyfold, some sixty, and some a hundred.”
