Genesis 6:3 And God said:My spirit shall not remain in man for ever, because he is flesh, and his days shall be a hundred and twenty years.

This is my favorite verse in the whole Bible, why? Because it can easily be misinterpreted, it does not refer to how long an individual shall live, but in fact how many years until the Great Flood would happen. Don't believe me? Take a good bible, not one thrown together in a hurry that you buy at a dollar store, and read the bottom of the page and it will explain the meaning of the verse.

Anyways, there is scientific evidence that shows there once was a massive flood.

Well, there's my attempt, but it truly doesn't matter. Know matter what we say, you will not change your belief, nor should you. We are all open to choose our life.

Hon, Do you not realize that the bible has archaeological evidence backing it up? My Goodness, Ramses the Great, Ever hear of him. Oh and King Nebucannezzer? Goodness they have the mummies of them.. they were certainly mentioned in the bible.. Oh and did you know that they kept records of Births, deaths, Marriages and crimes, and punishments, taxes and census records? They have land deeds and records indicating the areas sold and bought, and who owned what? There are over 600 written accounts of Jesus and his miracles that have nothing to do with God or religion. For goodness sake, Do you know that Persia in the bible is Iran of today? These places mentioned in the bible still exist and people still live there...The evidence is overwhelmingly for the bible.. The evidence STILL exists.. No one disputes the bible.. It really is correct and proven so..

Peace & God bless from Texas.. <><

There are places written in the bible that exist still today for us to see. I will get you a verse if you request but I will let those of the books try to defend their books first inshAllah.

I suggest you get off the computer and sit down with a open mind. Pray that He will show you Himself and began to read to book of John. If you continue on the path your on you won't get a answer from us. He reveals Himself to us. I see all these questions. Most people are just acting foolish for kicks. They won't get anywhere with this.

You are talking about faith, not intelligence or facts. Facts only confuse them.

Go away and live your little existence.

"No one is so blind and he who will not see." I don't think anyone can prove it to you.
