It really depends on exactly what you're looking for on your cruise. Carnival and Norwegian are good cruise lines if you're very laid back and don't like to get dressed up. Most cruise lines offer great food and an abundance of activities to do on sea days as well.
Heres a few cruise line sites if you care to visit them

We used the Carnival Cruise line to take a trip down the inland passage in Alaska in 1996 and we were both satisfied with the trip and the crew. We also took the 7 day cruise in the Hawaiian Islands and that was also a good trip but don't remember the name of the cruise line except that it was an American registry. a ship that is registered in another country has to make at least one stop in a foreign country even if it is Canada. DO NOT take a cruise in the Caribbean, we took our first cruise there and some friends of ours ran into trouble while ashore. If you take the Alaska trip, which I highly recommend, take it in the summer, the weather is very nice in Alaska and a wonderful place to visit, we liked it so much we made 9 more trips, did 3 in one year spring, summer and late fall.

If you guys are looking for a party experience, I would recommend Carnival. I've been on 3 cruise lines and believe it is the most 'happening' for active / social couples. 3-5 day cruises are more popular with 20-30-somethings.

I travel on Carnival almost every summer. I usually take a 7 day cruise somewhere in the Caribbean. A lot of people that I have spoken with don't like Carnival. They say that the food isn't too good. They all prefer Royal Caribbean. However, I have done one trip with Royal Caribbean and I hated it. The rooms on Carnival are much larger and the food is pretty much on the same level. If you check Carnival's website, they are known as the "Fun Ship". I think you'll enjoy yourself on Carnival.
Have fun!!

The best cruise to relax and have a romantic time in my mind would be Princess. They are not the cheapest cruise line, but I think they are the best value (bang for your buck) cruise line. If you are looking for the cheapest cruise lines, Carnival is your best bet. But do not think just because they are the cheapest they are the worst because that is not true. You can have a great time on Carinval, but will have more of a party crowd onboard.

Royal Carribean is the ideal cruise line for a relatives accumulating. every time I even have been on the cruise line that is been crammed with a brilliant form of human beings yet no longer overwhelmed with teenagers. there is a brilliant number of issues to and spot the two on board and in port. I even have taken the western carribean cruise on Freedom of the Seas and have booked a cruise on allure this October. I desire the Radiannce class ships for his or her length. the two way, you may have a brilliant time.

Try Royal Caribbean. It is a little pricier than carnival but the service and amenities are better, you get your monies worth. I like warm weather so I go on Caribbean cruises, haven't had a problem yet. They have great southern and western Caribbean itineraries.
