they serve 2 completely different functions.
creatine is for strength training and can aid in muscle building with the right diet and training program. it is used to help generate ATP, the cellular energy source that is used for all muscular contractions. when you are sprinting all out (50 yard dash) and you legs start to fail, you have run out of ATP. when you are benching and your arms start to shake and you can't perform any more reps, you have run out of ATP.
L-glutamine is the most widely used amino acid in the body. it can be used to repair muscle cells or for energy and many other biological processes. it's best used on a reduced calorie diet when decreasing body fat and preserving muscle is the primary goal. it can have a very pronounced anticatabolic effect when take from 30-60 grams daily in 10 gram doses.
* that's pretty good bench by the way. when I was 16 the end of my jr year I was getting like 240 but I was closer to 180 lbs.

you'll g et some Glutimine from reqular protein resources, yet you gained't get close to the creatine you want. you are able to construct muscle without Creatine regardless of the reality that. some solid resources of protein: Soy Nuts (roasted, make an miraculous snake), Cottage Cheese (nonfat or lowfat), poultry, Fish (Tuna, Salmon, and Talapia are proper by using low mercury), Turkey (i exploit floor turkey in any recipe that ussually demands floor pink meat, even burgers). solid success. don't be affraid of Whey protein supplementations in case you are able to't get sufficient protein evidently. Whey is a milk product and is fantastically "organic".

Creatine boosts strength and muscle mass and power. Glutamine helps muscle recovery. They're both good to have. But I'd choose creatine.

I personally don't like either of the two. Creatine bloats me and I get plenty of glutamine from my whey and regular diet.
Multivitamin and whey protein is all you really need.
