That four marks distinguish Christ's kingdom of heaven on earth. They are made known in the Creed—"I believe in the One, Holy, Catholic, and Apostolic Church."

One in:

Faith
Belief
Worship
Government

Holy In:

Origin, Christ.
Objective, redemption.
Means, sacraments.
Sanctity of faithful.

Catholic :

Teaches all nations.
During all time.
All Christ taught.
Peoples of all nationalities obedient to one universal authority in faith and morals.

Apostolic :

Founded upon apostles.
Teaches what apostles Apostolic taught.
Continuous existence from time of the apostles.
"The enemies of the Church themselves die and disappear, but the Church itself lives on, and preaches the power of God to ever succeeding generations" (St. Augustine).

Let me encourage you to look into Catholicism since it is the fullness of the Christian Faith.
I am Catholic and it is in the Catholic Church that I found Jesus Christ.
All the other churches are broken-off pieces of the Catholic Church;some are bigger pieces and many are just slivers.

Talk to the local priest
Get the Catechism of the Catholic Church which is in English but also in Tagalog,Cebuano and many East Asian languages
Check out the many Catholic Apologetic sites on the WEB

May I suggest that you go to Catholic Answers at http://www.catholic.com and then look at the left sidebar: You will see many subjects. You can click on one and see tracts that will probably answer your questions. Also, the search engine will search 20 years worth of articles from "This Rock" magazine. There are a lot of great articles there too

Also, the"official" Catechism Of The Catholic Church is online at: http://www.usccb.org/catechism/text/entiretoc1.htm
This is a difficult document to read. (The book is about three inches thick!) But, there is a wealth of information there too if you take the time to learn how to navigate it.

Just try to be casual about it. :] Let him show that you're really interested. Your priest would love to teach you and help you become closer God. :] God bless!

BTW, I'd suggest: "Father, gusto kong mas malaman 'yung mga practices ng mga Catholic (not sure how to spell it in Tagalog kasi e.. hehe)...may I know po kung ano ung mga practices na ginagawa nyo?"

Something like that.

Um...I would think twice before going Catholic. They still
believe you have to go through an intercessor and confess
your sins to a human being. The Bible says we can take
all our burdens to God Himself through our prayers to Him.
No go-between is needed now or ever. Check out a Bible
believing church instead.
