I got pulled over for the first time and I got off with a warning for doin 79 in a 55 zone. All I did was shut up and let him speak. When he asked me a question I answered In the most respectful manner I could. Lol, I also told him I was joining the department after I finished my associates degree (that wasn't a lie...I really am), but yeah...I still have my clean record.

..."Is there a problem officer?" This is probably the dumbest one. Of course there is a problem he pulled you over. I hate when people say that. My advice " I have to pee really bad can i go please." If you mean it and are a cute enough girl i would so let you go. It works in getting out of speeding tickets trust me.

No more than absolutely necessary.
Be polite, courtious and respond to just the questions asked.
You need to treat them like the IRS.
Be careful.
When ever am stopped, its always " yes sir, no sir , three bags full ! " or Name, Rank and Serial number.
Dont say anything unnecessary or unasked for.

Say nothing until he or she speaks, just remember to keep in the car and have your hands in plain view

hello.. here is my license and registration, and proof of insurance any thing else and I am soo sorry for bothering you..have a nice day.. seriously I was pulled over once by a friend and seen him coming up to my side and yelled out that he needed to take his hand away from his gun.. when he came up to the window and seen it was me he started laughing told me that I was speeding and to slow it down and see me later..
