Ok so I've been doing a 8 week gym challenge. Before the challenge my body fat was 29.9%. After doing weights twice a week (alternating between arms and legs) and cardio up to four times a week my lean muscle increased 2kgs and body fat dropped to 27.1%. Great result. Had final body fat test today after 8 weeks and after upping my weights to four times a week and cardio still up to four times a week my lean muscle weight decreased, and body fat only dropped to 26.9. My PT seems to think I've starved my body of food and rest - is this true? I've been eating the same but have noticed I've been hungrier than usual but haven't eaten more as I didn't want to increase my weight. I've been struggling with my weight for a couple of years and want to get it down to between 20 and 24%. Any tips anyone???
