why do peaple when your talking to them allways are distracted

I hear you shotgun!!! There is a lack of people who really do care in this world and that is so tragic. I know it's hard to keep in mind, but just remember that there ARE good people out there, who do care (about you and the world).

Depends on the surroundings, I think. For example, if your out in a crowded place, the person may be a bit distracted by what's going on around them. (still bad, I know)
I find that making sure that I am an active listener kind of makes the person I'm talking to do the same....

perhaps you are talking to to many people who have their own agenda and don't give a flip about yours.. I'll make a guess that you are young.. perhaps under 21... if you are in that age group.. I can tell you that most all of them in the group with you.. take themselves far to seriously.. they seem to think that they have all the answers to everything... as a result.. they have their mind on only the things that matter to them.. if you are older than 21.. you should have figured out by now that, if no one wants to hear your views..there may be a good reason for it.. I suggest that the best thing you can do is ask them why they are not listening..good luck

It's usually because they're caught up in their own thoughts and problems. I've always been a better listener than communicator...maybe because people fascinate me and I'm curious by nature. Anyway...it's very annoying to talk to someone and feel like they're not hearing a word you say.

I have no clue but it really gets to me My husband says it bescause alot of people don't like to look at peoples mouth so the listen but they act like they dont lol

The people that care and that want to be there will listen but i know that there are people that are just there because they have to be..
