In a pub, though, I like a Bass.

My advice is to ask what she's drinking and then ask if she'd like another. She might have reached her alcohol limit and want only a Coke.

The best is a glass of white wine (a californian wine is good)If she drinks alcohol, I recommend you three.
a margarita: onw ounce of tequila 11/4 controy orange drink or orange coutreau and half a lemon juice.
a martini one ounce of ginebra or vodka and 1/4 martine extra dry cinzano.
a piña colada: one ounce of rum and pineaple juice.
All of them with ice. If she doesn`t drink alcohol a virgen piña colada, the same recipe without rum.
