How many here believe in Sylvia Browne to be sincere?

I am just seeking honest opinions here... What do you think of her?

She is a expert psychic, spiritual teacher, and so much more.

I have one of her books, I say she's sincere from what I have experienced.

what I mean is I have experienced some of the same abilities that she has.

I have read a lot of authors like her, but only Brazilian ones. I've never read any of her books yet. I was kinda interested in reading them, but I got discouraged when I saw she sometimes helps police find vanished people. I really don't think mediums should use their skills that way, simply because mediums don't work for us human beings, instead they work for spirits. Mediums NEVER get the answers THEY WANT, only what THEY HAVE TO KNOW. There is a difference and I am afraid she is a little bit overwhelmed with her ability and allows herself to be taken advantage, not to mention the money she might be making with that kind of consult.

The good medium, in connection with God, is humble enough to say "I don't know, it is the spirits who know", instead of putting herself under some sort of test.

With the debunking of Jeanne Dixon some one had to take the platform, and along comes this woman and claims she's a spirit guide. The Bible clearly states anyone who practices necromancy is practicing witchcraft. Whether it is carnal or really hearing from the spirit world it is not from God. Do not be deceived, it is an abomination to God.

She is a fraud who should be locked up in jail so that she can't do anyone harm.

You seem to be one of her many victims, I hope you realise you've been fooled before you lose all your money on her and other cold readers like her.

There are no psychics, there is no one on the planet with psychic powers, those who claim to be psychics are either deluded or criminals, Sylvia Browne is the later.

Sylvia Browne is one of the biggest frauds and crooks ever to fleece the American public. $750 per 20-30 minute phone readings doesn't sound to sincere to me.

She is a charlatan.

It doesn't really speak "honesty" to me that she tells a boy's parents (Shawn Hornbeck) that their child is dead only to have him turn up three years later in the house of a sexual offender.

So I think she is one of the worst human beings alive.
Seeing as she uses cold reading in her psychic appointments (some cost $700 for a single session -- some gift, eh?), I cannot believe she is even sincere.

I want to believe her because I have so much faith in Montel Williams as a judge of character. However, watching her really vague predictions and the flat out incorrect ones she has, makes me think she's not all she says she is. I want to believe, but I somehow do not. In all the time i've watched her, and I have several of her books too, she just hasn't wowed me yet.

Sincere, maybe. Stalin, Hitler, etc were probably sincere. Believed in what they were doing. I do not mean to associate her in any way with what those others have done but nothing she does makes her correct.

She's also the one who told the parents of a kidnapped boy that he was dead, the one who was found ALIVE with that guy that kidnapped the other little boy last year. She's not just a con, she's a sick creep who preys on the vulnerable.

I remember her back in the day on Maury during the Clinton-Lewinski scandal. She said Clinton was innocent, and we know how that turned out. I think she is full of it.
