If god knows that for dinner tomorrow I am going to "choose" beef, than I can't possibly change that, I will have beef, i haven't got the free will to change that.

Wheres my FREE WILL?

If god KNOWS for sure what I will choose than I have to choose that.. just because I don't know doesn't mean I don't have to.. I have to

God already knows what you will choose but he isn't making you choose it,even though god already knows what will be chosen so there is no way that you can not choose what he knows you will choose,so the choosing of the chosen is already a pre determined choice from the chooser when choosing the choice that is chosen. I hope this clears it up for you.A good example of our free will is when we choose to be born and later on in life when we choose to die.If we didn't have free will then people would have no control over there own births and deaths. It is not determined by god because its our own free will decision.

Your free will is not an all-inclusive thing, you have the free will to choose to love God or choose not to.

Free will doesn't apply to what you have for dinner, what you will wear tomorrow or if you will bathe (although all of us are hoping you will choose bathing lol)

That's like saying that since you have the right of free speech, then you should have the right to run into a crowded theatre and yell "FIRE!" or have the right to call 911 several hundred times and say "pickle" then hang up.

God didn't make you eat the beef. If i could travel into the future and see what you were going to do before you did it would this mean that i have taken away your free will. No i just know what you are going to do before you do it.

Knowledge of somebody's choice prior to them choosing is a violation of one's choice? Sounds like a stretch of logic to me.

God knows what we will choose because He knew us before He formed us in the womb. Just like you, if you are a parent, know your child's favorite food (that he will always ask for) before he makes the choice. Did you take away his choice? No.

*EDIT* Thanks, but I do not consider anything I stated to be particularly spectacular. Nor did I have to leap through hoops to arrive at my answer. I knew the answer because I have asked it of others and learned something : )

Did God tell you you have to have beef?

never thought eating too much turkey made you ask stupid questions.

a "Proverbs 26:4" extra answer for you.

There is no "fatalism" about God. TODAY/NOW you have a choice to do what you want. God has NOT decided for you. He only sees what you do.

And not being locked into time, He sees what YOU decide. Don't blame your choices on God.

WHAM! watch out for the mental gymnastics and the semantic backflips!

EDIT: Thanks Ryan. I thought I went out on a limb there, bud, but you saved me!

EDIT 2: Wow! Was I spot on or what?! Maybe I'M omniscient and none of you have freewill!

Just because GOD knows everything, does NOT mean HE makes it happen. If HE did make it happen, then you have lost your will and replaced it by GOD's will.

GOD bless

God knows what you SHOULD DO.
Since it is your choice it's called freewill.
