my boyfriend and i we have been together for 3 years and he never says he loves me! at the beggining he did it all the time, but we had so many problems and our relationship almost ended up!!!! we managed and got better, now we are so much better but still he doesnt say he loves me... he has said it in a few times( in a bracelet he customized for me for valentines day, and in a greating card) but not in a normal day life like any couples! so that makes me wonder!!! he always says how much he cares for me and that i am the most important person for him... and defenitely he shows me he cares in many ways,but i still wonder why he doesnt say it!

I think it's a male thing. Women are much more verbal than men when speaking of feelings. As long as he continue to show you that he loves you, you're worrying for nothing. He'll say it eventually.

Talk to him. If you guys have had troubles, he may have difficulty saying it now. Just ask him what's up. Tell him you like to hear him say that. Positive reinforcement should make him see that you want to hear it. Do you say it to him? If not, do it! Does he say it back? If not, ask him why not.

there are two types of people. people who just say i love you whenever. or people who say it when they really really mean it. you two have been together for a really long time but maybe he's still just not ready to say it. you can give him time. or you can ask him about it. your call.
