Last year I bought a yz 125 and I'm going to sell it sometime soon. I've been doing trail riding now more than I was so here is where the question comes. What bike is good for tough trail riding? It also needs plenty of power to make it up some very steep hillsides. Also, in the trails probably next year when it's warmer out I'll be hopefully making a small track in the woods with a few good sized jumps on it so it should be able to handle that. Also, are there any trail bikes out there that can handle around a 40 foot jump. I ask because the yz I had before could handle it. Thanks.

I suggest that you send your cylinder out and get it rebored to 150 cc. Some shops can re-do the porting for more mid-range. I had a kx125 a few years ago with this modification- it made a huge difference. The big advantage of a 125 two stroke over any of the wr's is light weight. The 4 stroke bikes are 50 pounds heavier. Imagine trying to push one of those tanks out of a mudhole.
