apply at every place that is hiring, and even the ones you arent!
This is what I did, and after a few weeks I had about 10 places calling me!
Good luck, and just keep trying...I know how hard it is!!

You can get an entry level job at just about any major chain. Whether it is tn restaurant or retail. I think the advantage of serving is quick cash to keep you off the streets. This is not a final career but a starting point. I think the first thing is to get regular income then to pursue finishing your education later.(3-6 months) After you have stable income and a secure roof over your head contact the local community college. They will be a one stop shop. They can help you with finishing your education and finding a better job. What ever you do don't burn any bridges with the first job, you will need them as a reference.

You should start by getting your GED. Most GED prep classes are so cheap that they may as well be free. For more info, go to your local library or community college. Once you have that GED, you'll have a lot more employment options. You can also look at staying in school part-time at the junior college level.

Everyone who has a job had a "first job" at some point. But most jobs now do require at least a high school diploma - look into getting your GED.
Good luck.

I hope you are considering getting your GED. You may have to consider applying for fast food or telephone marketing....usually you don't need any kind of experience for this...construction work--do you have any kind of experience with this? You might consider going to Job Service...they have career counseling to help you.
