I had a smart-alecky responce ready concerning some people not being able to find their a*ss with a map & metal detector when I looked again at the meaning to what you were asking.
Darn it you made me *think* twice in one night..LOL
Some people go all the way over the mountain and back around to the beach just to keep from admitting that they are on the wrong path. Even when the terrain is just all wrong, some people will not believe their own eyes because they are "narrow-minded" and refuse to look any farther ahead than straight down. Until they look up, face the horizon and open their eyes and minds they probably will just keep climbing.
I don't know if I got what you meant I responded to what it meant to me. have a good one...

Apparently, all the way. Most never stop to look back, they just keep trudging away until someone going in the opposite direction asks them where they're going and tells them, or they look back and happen to see the sign that says "Beach 180 miles" in the opposite direction. Most will ignore that sign, and all the others that follow, and keep going anyway, but for a lucky few that keep their wits about them, they can admit that they were wrong. That is, if their destination was the beach in the first place. Some people want nothing more than to get to the top of the mountain, despite the fact that the journey can kill them.

Life is full of hurdles and filled with struggle, and it can be of any nature. One must always remember that one has to pass this final. As this human body our soul gets is not easy to get. There also one has to struggle to get this. Why, for the simple reason that one can get freedom from hear only. This is the last and the beginning. And more over the generation we enter is not easily to get. So one must be proud of the birth one has and has tried to be genion.

That just depends on whether I want to be on the mountaintop or in the surf. Me, I turn around and head for the ocean as soon as I get my bearings...

A wise man will follow water down hill. A foolish man will die at the summit rather than admit he did not choose his path wisely.

I find it somewhat ironic that some, who claim atheism, as if it were some religion of its own, regularly look for subtle and not so subtle ways to take a jab at christians. Is it necessary?
