I'm looking for a link that lists the top 10 most violent cities and the top 10 safest cities and lists the black population for each. Anyone know where this is? Thanks!

First search the safest and worst, then search the US Census for a racial population breakdown of the particular city. It takes a little more time, but it will give you the stats your looking for

You can try the FBI website or NRA.org.
The NRA site might be able to tell you the best and worst cities.
The cities with the worst violent crimes have the most restrictive laws against self defense (Washington,D.C. holds the title of Murder Capital in the U.S.).
Great Britain has a total ban on firearms, but the murder rate continues to climb. Gun deaths have declined some, but stabbings have been on the rise and even kids carry knives to try to protect themselves.
The cities and states with the least restrictive laws have the lowest crime rates in general-the reason is that criminals don't want to target someone who might have a gun.

This will take some effort.

First find top 10 safest search all 10 for population demographics.

Then find worst 10 and repeat the process.

I am the product of both a 2nd generation American grandmother and a 7th generation American grandfather. Both families came to this country legally. I am not anti immigration. However, I do believe you should follow the law. Come legally, learn the language and culture. Become one of us, America is great because of the way we were founded and the fact that you can come and be a part of us. The many different people who have come and joined us and added a little of their cultures to the add flavor to our existing culture was wonderful. However, we still remained Americans. We are a nation of many flavors but are united in a culture and language. The posters above me have already made the point that your study was done only to prove that immigrant cities are safer therefore the data they pulled was skewed to that end. You can't make an argument based on only one study.

It has less to do with skin tone than the ability and willingness for folks to take care of themselves.
The most violent cities are usually those with the most restrictive laws, as regards personal decisions and ability to protect themselves.

When you do your search factor in which cities have the strictest gun control laws.... cross match the two list... It is my guess that the cities with the most violence and highest crime rate are also the cities with the strictest gun control laws.... Starting with the Nation's Capitol.
