Well, some of us do cast spells. And that broomstick thing? That's part of an agricultural fertility rite. And weddings.

We are here, we just don't fly on broomsticks and our spells are not like those in charmed. However some Christian will swear that they can heal the sick and raise the dead just like Christ. Does that count for a yes to your answer?

I believe....The Bible says clearly why....
Gal 5:19-21 Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness,
20 Idolatry, witchcraft......21 that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.
1Sa 15:23 For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft,
2Ch 33:6 And he caused his children to pass through the fire in the valley of the son of Hinnom: also he observed times, and used enchantments, and used witchcraft, and dealt with a familiar spirit, and with wizards: he wrought much evil in the sight of the LORD, to provoke him to anger.

Witchcraft is defined as....A primitive root; properly to whisper a spell, that is, to inchant or practise magic: - sorcerer, (use) witch (-craft).

Act 13:6 And when they had gone through the isle unto Paphos, they found a certain sorcerer, a false prophet...

Act 13:8 But Elymas the sorcerer (for so is his name by interpretation) withstood them, seeking to turn away the deputy from the faith.
Act 13:9 Then Saul, (who also is called Paul,) filled with the Holy Ghost, set his eyes on him,
Act 13:10 And said, O full of all subtlety and all mischief, thou child of the devil, thou enemy of all righteousness, wilt thou not cease to pervert the right ways of the Lord?

This is why I believe that witchcraft exists and those who practice it are children of the devil....

Yes indeed. Witches practice magic - which is the attempt to control people &/or natrure by the use of spell, incantations and other rituals. Witches little realise that their success depends on the cooperation of demons.

Many of them believe in actual witchcraft enough to be horrified and offended whenever there is a portrayal of anything that remotely relates to magic. It's a little ironic, actually...
