Why aren't the mormons answering?

Here is the question again......

Mormons, do you believe that Jesus Christ is the almighty God? or do you believe he was just a prophet sent by God?
Where is our salvation?
Please tell?

We do believe that Christ is God, known as Jehovah in the Old Testament. Mormons believe in the Trinity but have a slightly different view than other Christians. Mormons tend to read the New Testament more literally than other Christians when considering this question.

We believe in the divinity of the Father, the Son (Jesus), and the Holy Ghost. We believe they are physically separate beings, but that they function in perfect harmony of will and purpose as one monotheistic unit, called the "Godhead," or, as Mormons often shorten it, just "God."

The difference between Mormons and other Christians is that other Christians technically believe that the three members of the Trinity are somehow simultaneously "one and three," but when they talk about the Trinity casually they typically speak of its three members as if they were separate beings. In casual speech Mormons speak the same way about the Trinity, except they actually do believe they are three separate beings (but one in purpose).

In the end, this slight difference in doctrine has virtually no theological consequences. To make a nerdy analogy, it doesn't matter whether you have three computer processors in one computer, or three separate computers perfectly networked together. The power and function is the same. :)

And yes, Mormons do believe Jesus is God, and they do worship him.

We believe in Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior.
He died and atoned for our sins. He's not just a prophet,
He's the son of God. Part of the Godhead.
He rose in his own body.

We believe all mankind will be atoned for their sins by Jesus Christ. Not just the elect.
We also believe in faith, repentance, baptism by immersion to wash our sins away and the laying on of hands for the gift of the holy ghost. (acts 2 : 38-39)

We believe we are saved by grace after all we can do.
We will judged according to our works (Revelations 20:12) and be exalted in either the Celestial Kingdom, Telestial Kingdom or Terrestrial Kingdom. Paul said he went to the third heaven. Only very evil people will be sent to outer darkness where the Devil and his demons will be sent.
(D&C 76)

Nina Jesus isn't Father God. There's the Father, The Son and The Holy Spirit and they are three seperate personages that make up the Godhead.

I'm not a mormon, but since you don't seem to be getting any mormon responses, I'm going to go ahead and answer, and I would encourage any mormons to correct me if I'm mistaken.

Mormons don't believe Jesus is almighty God. They believe Jesus is the firstborn son of almighty God. And almighty God has a father before him. In the "eternal law of progression," a son of God can become a god of his own world, so Jesus may become "almighty God" of some other world, but there is only one almighty God in this world, and it is the father of Jesus.

Nina, YES! they do believe in the Trinity....very MUCH soooo.

I'm not a "Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints" (Mormon), but I have studied about them, and I have many family members who are of this religion. Yes, they believe Jesus Christ is the Son of our Heavenly Father. They end their prayers in the name of Jesus Christ....as do most Christians. Yes, they believe that he is more than a prophet. Yes, they believe in repenting of their sins...turning away from...and living their lives as Christ like as they can... They may not refer to it as salvation...I'm not sure....but they go through the same process......

I had friends who were Mormons. Everything I had ever been taught about the Mormon religion was shattered by their faith & lifestyle. I would have to say that God will judge the heart not the title of the book!

They think they believe in Biblical Jesus but they do not. They do not believe in Trinity.

Edit: If a person do not believe that Jesus is also Father God of Abraham, then they do not believe in Trinity
