The word for "evil" in the Hebrew is ra`ah which is more accurately translated, "adversity".

However, it can also be used as "evil", and if this is the case, then you must understand that free will without choice is an illusion. Evil did not just pop out of no where, it had to be given the potential to be chosen. Who created the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil? It was God. Satan cannot create, so Satan did not create the potential for evil, it was God who created it. Whether one chooses or shuns it is the entire point.

Hatred is created by man against man and God. But hatred can also be a good thing. To hate evil and sin is considered a good thing to God.

Pr 13:5
A righteous man hates lying, But a wicked man is loathsome and comes to shame.
Pr 15:27
He who is greedy for gain troubles his own house, But he who hates bribes will live.
Pr 28:16
A ruler who lacks understanding is a great oppressor, But he who hates covetousness will prolong his days.

God created no such thing. This evil manifested from satan but it is a mystery how it came to be. God is surrounded by light and all things good, so there is no darkness or evil in Him.Therefore He is not capable of creating evil. Satan is the orginator..his heart grew so jealous and hateful of God that evil spawned thus creating something that God would have no part of. So God sent him from Heaven never to be in the presence of God or good again.

God did not create evil and hatred.
Satan did when he rebelled with 1/3rd of the angelic beings, see Ezek 28:12-19
Satan is called the King of Tyre.

Evil is the absence of the goodness of God. Just as darkness is the absence of light. Just as cold is the absence of heat.

It would be convenient to blame God for everything and not take responsibility for the horrors in this world.

But I'll tell you something that should put a twist in your logic: God has sovereignty over everything - even evil!

God did not create evil just like he did not create dark. Evil is the absence of good like dark is the absence of light.

He created it indirectly by giving us our free will. Our choices open the door for the evil. But He calls us to do right and love one another.
