Why are so many people asking religious questions?

First timers who don't visit FAQ is one reason. Another reason is maybe they don't like the answers they see which does not fit their world view.
Sometimes I don't mind answering the same question just to lend thought on what has been said before but to a new audience of responders.
This is what YA is all about. A lot of time people who see the same type of question will just ignore it.
A long time ago I heard Bill Cosby give the story of Chicken Heart. And the radio was telling how Chicken Heart was taking over big cities. And the man was afraid about what he heard on the radio. Then someone came into the room and asked him what he was afraid of. Then the man told him about Chicken Heart's take over. I think it was coming to his city and he was afraid. Then the other guy just turned off the radio. And that stopped the threat of Chicken Heart taking over his city.
I said that not to make a point nor is it part of your answer. I said that to entertain you. Kind of what YA is all about I guess.

It is Religion and Spirituality section.So people ask the related questions only.Why you have an objection?If you are not interested in these questions you are welcome to the field of your choice and enjoy questioning and answering.
Next , unless , one gets a satisfactory answer , he goes on questioning the same.It is natural.
Fundamentally it is one question , '' Is there God? and if yes how to realise him?''.The other question are related ones.Through introspection, through questioning learned persons and reading and practising what you learn are the ways to progress.
